Free download: the multilingual KanjiGym review software

KanjiGym is a study aid software for all books based on the kanji learning system by James W. Heisig up until the year 2009. It is provided without charge as a service for users of these books. We’d only like to kindly ask you for your registration. We wish you success – and fun! KanjiGym Light is available completely in English, French, German and Spanish.

There are four versions of KanjiGym Light for Palm® OS (English, French, German and Spanish). The software runs on PDAs with Palm® OS. (For older devices running Palm® OS 3.5, please use this patch after downloading and installing the installation package from the link below.)

Users of PocketPCs and iPhones should be able to run the program with the Styletap® emulator software (please make sure this is the case with your device before you decide to acquire Styletap for this purpose).

  • runnable on PC and MAC (Java™ version), also includes standalone PDA version for Palm® OS
     
  • perfectly suited for Remembering the Kanji I by James W. Heisig and its adaptations for other languages (see below)
     
  • suitable for reviewing all 2,042 kanji from RTK-keyword to corresponding kanji
     
  • drawing pane for practising stroke orders
     
  • display of stroke order animations for self-assessment (from the free Taka database)
